Full Meguiar's Car Wash/Detail

So, Almost 7 hrs. and $100 bucks later, I gave my Stang the bath of it's life!! It was a long process, consisting of five or six steps, but WOW!! The results are worth the work!! Wash, clay, wash, polish, wax, quik detailer...what's that, like six steps actually!! I'm a believer though...what do you guys think?

Seriously, the pictures don't do it justice. I could see myself like in a mirror!! It's crazy...

Beautiful! That color looks incredible with a little bit of care.

The weather is supposed to be 75 and sunny here Saturday, I plan on doing the exact same with mine..clay, polish, glaze, wax, and CRUISE IT!

Did you do it by hand or do you have an electric polisher?

No man...100% by hand!! My arms feel like they are about to fall off!! LOL...

Seriously, I've always been a little weary of using the polishers. I'm afraid they will burn the clear coat. I guess if I was properly trained, if do it. But my Coyote is not going to be my Ginny Pig!!

Have fun this weekend...supposed to be beautiful!!!

If you use a random orbital polisher, it's basically possible to do that and it's the best tool for the job anyway!

Car looks good, last Friday when I finished my two day detail the car didn't leave the garage until Monday morning (had 8" of snow Thurs/Fri and then sloppy roads after that though)

Just curious because im far from an expert but what is the point of using quick detailer right after wax? I thought the point of that is to use between waxing for dust etc? Seems like a step you didn't need to do

Looking great. I'm a Meguiar fan boy myself. I use the #2 Polish and the Show Car Glaze along with the Carnauba Paste Wax. I only use the Quick Detailer when I have water spots that need to be taken care of. I need to do a clay bar process this weekend and get all that stuff off that settles on the paint during the winter.

Nice job. If you think that's good, wait till you've seen a car that's been fully clayed using a clay pad (instead of bar), then deswirled and polished using a DA or rotary with at least a 2 step approach with appropriate foam pads and polishes, then glazed at least 2 coats, then sealed at least 2 coats, then Nuba coated at least 2 coats.... Then you'll be truly amazed
