Sweet.
I'm going to say the FRPP Supercharged 5.0 will be 5 psi (that's what it was on the 4.6 liter too) and be rated at
520-530 hp
6 psi would be a bonus with a 560 hp rating, but doubtful they'll want to upstage the GT500

Cool. Can't wait. Question, on the FRPP car does it have the 18 or 19 inch GT500 wheels? Can't tell from the pics, but they look like they have a lot of sidewall. Thanks for sharing!

18"
FRPP is selling that wheel now in the catalog.

We just got our first batch at the shop they are also VERY CHEAP. OEM set of wheels for $700 SHIPPED anywhere in the lower 48!

Nice pics Shaun, CDC are just down the street from where I used to live. That Focus RS is one cool ride. Looking forward to seeing the results from the blower.

Procharger is already doing 520+ at the rear wheels for $5500. The FRPP unit better make 550+ at the wheels if they want to sell it for $7,000.

Of course, this is all conjecture based on the prices of the 2010 FRPP superchargers.

FRPP blower = Ford warranty

Ford Warranty > Procharger warranty

Ford warranties it's parts and that means being conservative.

That's no different than any manufacturer backed performance parts.
They will ALWAYS be less than what non manufacturered performance parts can and will offer.

There is NO way it will have 550 wheel hp.
It won't even have 520 wheel hp.
As I stated, expect 520-530 "crank" rated hp and probably 5 psi, not 7 psi like Vortech, Whipple and Procharger are offering....which is the maximum psi you can put on the stock engine without issues.

i think ill start off with a whipple at 6 psi. that should be enough for a while and if i ever get bored with it ill just up the boost to 7 psi.

Shuan, any chance FRPP will make the 19" GT500 wheel cast like the 18" instead of forged? That way the cost could be reasonable...

Not a bad decision, that's what I'd consider too.
But the FRPP version does offer a warranty so unless ultimate power is the goal, it might be worth having 20-30 less hp to have a warranty.
And 520-530 hp in a 3600 lbs car would be quite fast anyway.

Lastly I wonder if one could just get the FRPP version at (what I suspect will be 5 psi) and then change the pulley to a smaller diameter one to get more power, and if warranty work is needed go back to the 5 psi pulley.

...at everything there. Including the Bronco and Focus R'S. Shaun, does Rehagen need help setting up a West Coast entity? I volunteer my services! ...although capital might be a problem

does not the void the rest of your warranty and the FRPP warranty replaces the FoMoCo warranty.

Exactly why I will be going to FRPP for all my aftermarket performance needs. Any hope they will have their own CAI or will they only offer the K&N filter?
