Anyone know how much of an increase you see with the kit?

The site still says "increase of ___ peak hp / up to ___ lb-ft over stock"

You can get it without the mufflers silly

My dealer is finding out how much they will charge for just the tuner. I want to change my gears to 4.10 as well

Looks like the MSRP is $410 w/o the mufflers:

I just did the math and it is cheaper to buy the parts separate.

First off this seems shady "Unlike our competitors, all Ford Racing Power Upgrade Packages are 50 state emissions legal and eligible for limited warranty when installed by a Ford or Lincoln-Mercury Dealer"

How long is the limited warranty? Can you up the rpm limit with the FRPP tuner?

Secondly, I bet a dealer would charge way to much to install these parts.

Edit: I forgot to add guys and girls that those prices are Suggested Retail prices. You will find lower prices through dealers.

Thats sort of a rip off either way you look at it. A buddy of mine just got the RTR package and it comes with essentially the frpp power upgrade and from reports that upgrade yields like 9hp 8tq gains. I'm sorry but that is not worth 400$ or 1000$ with mufflers. Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

I think the mufflers are way overpriced. The tune & air filter for $410 or so is not unreasonable. (Isn't the Brenspeed tune around $370?)

The point of the tune is better driveability, throttle response, etc. - not big HP gains. I'm tempted by the tune, especially since I have the auto trans, which could use some improved shift points. If significant HP gains are your thing, like for drag racing, then this Ford pkg is not for you.

How do we find out if it takes out the Skip shift?

My dealer did not know if it would.

It doesn't for now, all of the tuners out there are working on it and will make it available for their respective customers when they have an update for it. That's what i was told by Jeff over at Steeda. Hope it is soon.

Aren't these mufflers made by Borla ! Don't know if my eyes are fooling me, but those exhaust tips look like chrome to me, not stainless.

But according to my dealer who knows a bunch of these tuners pretty well it is because they cant figure out the code that ford has written and ford isnt giving up any info. But I would assume that Ford would know how to turn off features on there own tune. Just curious if they did or not.
