This.......really.

My rear end was off by 1/4 inch after the 1" drop just like a LOT of guys out there that lower their cars.
The benefits switching to a beefier brace and bar is more chassis rigidity and less flex with the urethane bushings.

Well the FRPP 1" drop springs (M-5300P) have been ordered along with the FRPP adjustable panhard bar.
Scheduled to come in the week of Sept 13th and will be installed Sept 19th.

I did not get the "jounce" kit.

I know I probably paid a bit more than what I could have them done for (especially the panhard bar which was $279) but having the FRPP on and installing it at a dealer insures the warranty stays intact on my suspension, and that's worth the couple hundred extra bucks.

Thanks to all who gave insight.

Sounds like a good plan...

Let me add, its pretty cool adjusting the pan hard bar and watching the rear end move over at each turn.. Eibach pro kit 1.3" drop in front 1.4" in back..sits just perfect!

Yeah they had those in stock and I could of put them on.
But that's a bit too low for me (and probably my driveway entrance too)
and I didn't want any issues from Ford dealers or my warranty if I ever have to bring the car in for some suspension related issue, sound, etc.
So the FRPP springs were the only way to go for me.
BTW, FRPP springs are offered in a 1" drop as well as 1.25 and 1.50 as well.

Just be careful with the 1.25" drop springs. They are for the heavier front end of the GT500.

I'm not going with the 1.25, I'm doing the 1" drop.
