Ford Opinion Survery
Received a letter from Ford saying that they will be holding a engineer meeting somewhere locally (forgot the city) and looking to speak with 2011 owners. I took the little survery and it said that Ford will contact me if they pick me, if you are chosen you will get $150 from Ford. Anyone else get a letter like this?

I did this with my 2010. It's held at the old Ford building in Irvine where they do Cars & Coffee.
I also got another $100 to let them test some kind of smog sensor in my car. They even came to my work to do it. Took all of 5 minutes.
Tack on the 2009 Tax rebate, ****, I've earned nearly 2 grand by buying this car! lol

I did a customer service meeting over the internet and at the same time by phone. With about 10 other people with Ford cars and trucks from all over America. Got $75.00 for an hour and half of my time. Fine by me

I got one in the mail a few weeks ago for my Raptor. I didn't try for it as it was a couple of hours drive away from me and we had plans as it was on a Saturday.
I wish I would have tried though.

I got a similar offer but it was not specifically Mustang-oriented. It was regarding Sync. It was at the "SMART" Road at Virginia Tech and IIRC it was $150 and you drove their vehicles. I declined as it was a Saturday and I'd rather play golf.

It's pretty cool. Each time slot has about a dozen owners with similar cars. V6 group, GT group, etc. My group was mostly GTs with a few GT500s. We had a 60 minute "round table" session where you introduce yourself then the moderator brings up a topic and everyone responds to it. For example, last year they asked how we felt about dealer installed decals. There were a bunch of other questions that I don't remember. The questions are pretty leading, you can tell where they are going with it. It's a good way to see what Ford has in the pipeline. The engineers are in another room watching what is being said. After that you go back to your car and get to spend about 15 minutes with a handful of engineers. Powertrain, interior, electronics, etc. They get your feedback on what you like and don't like. They base their questions on the survey you filled out and sent in. If you have any issues with your car, a couple Ford service reps are standing by to expedite the issue to your dealership. I was impressed. They'll also do a short video interview as you're leaving the parking lot.

I tried to be as descriptive as I could in the survey so that they would know they would get some useful feedback if they chose me.
Maybe I can bum some FRPP parts off of them

They had some pop-up thing when you visited the ford-vehicles.com website too... It was an online survey application thing that made us "eligibile" to receive $150
