Ford CS (all of them???) are currently in a meeting
Just called and I got
"We are currently in a meeting and can not accept your call at this time."
Well that's new. Maybe they're all volunteering again. Or being briefed on a new script. Or maybe, possibly, some sliver of hope, being told what's wrong with our cars. Probably not.

LOL some of you are going to die of sheer "worry exhaustion" due to all these loooooooooooooooooooooooong delays.......Might want to take a break from the internet for a few days and find something else to occupy your time.
Uh..............I hope you guys have figured out that this is a contracted call center.
And it henceforth has a new name.........it is no longer Ford CS, but Ford BS.
I'm sure that's what everyone already calls it anyway.
When I got sent up to the supervisory level because my ETA,(which she refered to as the estimated Time of Arrival), was two weeks past due and the 'supervisor' called the car in question a Mustang GET, then I knew. The only difference between a phone bank person reading a script and a screen, and a 'supervisor', is that the supervisor has to send e-mails telling you the same BS. They probably get 40 cents an hour more and they probably take the typing job because it's easier to BS from a keyboard for most people than it is orally.

There, now there's plenty of ambivalence to go around. Just not sure that's great for the shareholders.
This is nothing new. I remember going through the same thing in 05, but at least we had the ERL back then. It's crap that I can order a used air filter off of ebay and be alerted when UPS receives the order on Tuesday, when they pick it up from Detroit, when it arrives in Columbus, when it gets scanned in Canton, when it's out for delivery, and even know if it's on my front porch before I get home from work on Friday.
But... order a brand new car and you're left completely in the dark and put up typical dealership attitude when you simply want an update on status as you're left waiting for months.
Some things never change.
I feel for ya guys. Good luck. All's I can say is that the wait will be worth it.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the influx of dissatisfied callers may have prompted this all-hands meeting during working hours -- probabily loosely tied to the removal of system privileges a couple of weeks ago.
(I bet if you call with an Escape VIN they'll be excited about that one as well. . .)

That sounds to me like they had enough of the phones ringing non-stop, and are now "shutting" everybody out for the time being----
Good advice----
