I just noticed in this Canadian launch video that cars equipped with HID's are using their fog lights for daytime running lamps. this means there should be a way to configure the Smart Junction box to do this on other cars. Check out ~0:34 of this video.

I'd rather use the parking lights.

 

I used to use mine as DRL's. It's the law here to have headlights on at all times and since they sit so high up they really don't look like fogs.

I also noticed on mine that the fog are daylight... and the HID are off during the day.

 

I use mine as manual DRL's, along with the parking lights since they go on together

Nothing at all. I recall that some people were hoping to use their fogs instead of the regular lamps.
