Question Fog light conversion to driving lights?

Does anybody know of a way to convert the beam pattern of the inboard fog lights (low and wide) to a driving light pattern (narrow and far)? There are few street lights where I live (Patuxent River, MD) and I'd like to have as much light downrange as I can on those lonely roads.

I don't know how easy/difficult it is to remove the assembly, and if driving light pattern housings are even available. Thanks!

You would have to replace the whole light assembly because driving lights have a different reflector than a fog light does. You would just have to find a light assembly you could make fit in place of the fogs.

Up high in the grill is a dumb place for fog lights anyway, they are mostly just for looks.

It's either going to be easy (new bulbs and adjusting them to your liking) or a real pita (New bulbs, lenses and maybe reflectors - if its available).

Steeda sells a driving light kit for their facia, maybe you could adapt that?

No matter how strong a bulb you put in they won't do much as driving lights without new reflectors and lenses to direct the light beam where you want it which is far out in front of the car.

Does anyone know if there is a replacement bulb for the driving/fog lights in the grill so they are more white than yellow? I've searched but not having much luck. Thanks!
