Probably the best sound for the $ IMO. At least they didn't just sit there and just rev the engine like some 16 yr. old redneck (like most of these videos).
I wish they did some recording from INSIDE the car, so we would know what WE would hear. Do we really care what passerby s hear?
Actually, with my CAI and sound tube foam removed, mine is plenty loud & sounds good on the inside

The guy at Flowmaster posted over at Modded Mustangs said the Flowmaster cat-back has the best sound of all they offer but can not find any sound clips of it.

Here is what he wrote

The new Cat-Back Hushpower system for Mustangs in on the way - should be available mid-month. Check the website.

For shopping purposes - here's the Flowmaster breakdown on sound of the different muffler packages:

Hushpower Axle-Back: Very deep, bassy sound. Relatively mild interior sound level. This is the system I would personally recommend for most people looking for an axle-back. Has a great sound inside and out.

Flowmaster Axle-Back: Deep, but more hollow chambered type sound. Has a pretty healthy interior resonance level. Definitely an American thunder system and for the guys who is looking for loud. A bit louder on the interior than I care for.

Hushpower Cat-Back: Again a very deep, bassy sound that is noticeably louder than the HP AB kit. Has a pretty healthy level of interior res, but still less than the FM AB kit. Has a good sound that I could live with, but I’d rather have the FM CB.

Flowmaster Cat-Back: A higher, much smoother tone than the Hushpower CB. Interior resonance is really pretty mild and considerably less than the HP CB. In my opinion this is the best sounding system of the whole bunch. It sounds awesome!...REALLY.

Man, I'd really like to avoid drone this time around if at all possible, coming from a Borla S-Type axleback on my 2007 GT. So, according to a Flowmaster rep, their Hushpower axle- and catbacks drone. From what I've ready about the Bassani's, too, is that they drone a bit as well. While it's very hard to tell by a recording on Youtube, utilizing brand-new mufflers that aren't broken in, I believe I'm going to go the Borla Touring route -- nice, aggressive, deep tone devoid of any drone, at least according to David Borla.

Thanks for the video, Joe. The Hushpower system does sound incredible!

Marz these seem like a great deal. Still have not heard any sound clips. They say they sound like the Borla Touring yet have no drone. I have seen them for $309.
