Still not quite sure about it... it may sound different in person, but I still think the Bassani is the best sounding system yet. And it would save me some $$$ for some other mods...

Though they would have made it deeper sounding. Sounds nice tho.

Interesting how the stingers are a totally different design. Tho if they stayed true to what he said in the video to match the sound quality. It ought to sound the best of the 3. Tho I think the ATAK is pretty sweet... but stingers are more of a low pitched rumble out of all of them... Which never really captures well in vids.

Curious to hear some reviews on them

It sounds good but I agree. Just not quite sold on it yet. I love the effort that went into building the 5.0 exhaust but just not sure I am loving it as much as I thought.

As a fan of the old-school 1960’s V8 sound (especially mid-years/1963-1967 Corvettes with side pipes), I like the sound of the Touring best. I still can’t figure what the heck all the popping is about, but it’s in all three Borla models, as every other setup I’ve seen video of. Still, it’d be best to “live” with each of the three to make the very best decision. I like the sound of the Atak and S-type under accel, but I don’t think I’d want to live with that racket day-in-day-out mile after mile. I don’t want to wake up my entire cul-de-sac every morning when I leave for work at 5:45 am. Since my car is my fair weather daily-driver, I think my pick of Borla’s offerings is the Touring.

If only Magnaflow would release a vid of their “street” system (all I’ve seen out there is their “competition” setup).

So to me, it’s now between the Borla-T and the Bassani. And I don’t want $150 to be the issue, I’d like to get whichever one is really the better-sounding, easiest to live with system for me.

All sound pretty good. Probably a Touring or S-Type guy myself.

Pretty turned-off by the extra-long exhaust tips though...

So who has the cheapest Borla prices right now? Bassani? Also, I noticed the FRPP Touring axle-back is $342 now. Has anyone seen/heard a sound clip or video for those? I know they’re not as pretty and they don’t have a lifetime warranty, but $342 is hard to ignore, especially if they're basically the same thing as the Borla Touring.

Ditto!

The only thing I don't like is the super long exhaust tips but I love the sounds. Touring or S-type would be for me.

So the FRPP are the touring model?

Maybe some GT500 mufflers would do the same trick, I need to ask Shaun....

The Touring kit is $342 at the FRPP site:
http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=12437

The “Sport” kit is $749 at the FRPP site:
http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=12247

Sound clips of either of the above are nowhere to be found. I FINALLY figured out how to get all of the 2011 FRPP parts to come up: type '2011' in the search field. Sheez, what a user-vicious site.

It's listed twice lol. The listing with the pic still has the touring as $749
