First Dyno and Order MGW Shifter today
Hey guys,
I just got my first baseline dyno yesterday for my buddy "Bullet".
He put out 376 at the wheels and 329 of torque. That torque
number seems a little low to me. Are both those numbers
in line with what you all have seen for stock GTs?

Also I ordered the MGW racespec shifter today along with
the following cue ball shifter:

Do any of you think I will have regrets with the MGW shifter. I really get pissed now when I miss 3rd with the stock shifter.

The MGW shifter is about the best money you can spend for the MT82. Since having it in my car for a couple months, I've grinded 2nd and 3rd maybe twice when trying to fly through the gears. This transmission just does not like to be shifted fast:/ So despite the big improvement in the feel of it, I still kinda have to take my time in between gears. Maybe I should try a different trans fluid...
How is normal shifting with the race spec? I have one collecting dust and I'm hesitant to install it if it won't make normal shifting (regular driving) any better. My shifter is pretty notchy sometimes, especially going to 5th, and I haven't seen anyone report normal shifting is improved.
Normal driving it's great, the feel of it alone is just about worth it anyways, it's still kinda notchy but without the constant binding the factory shifter had, just feels more direct. After all that's what the MGW Race Spec is designed for, to take out any and all of the slop the factory piece suffers from. It's just that after the couple grinding moments I had made me wanna back off from trying to shift real fast. And I'll admit it, even though I've driven manuals for a while, I know I'm far from being the best shifter in the world so it could've been just me.

No I was filming. The tech was in the car. Isnt that normal for the dyno tech to be in the car driver seat working with computer gadgets sitting on passenger seat?
