Along with your outfit and shoes you have picked out...
Make sure you brush your teeth too, don't want rank breath stifling the new car smell. May also want to wear drivers gloves, that way you don't get any pent up moisture from your hands on the steering wheel- as you'll be all giddy with enjoyment and adrenaline.
I also find it incredibly valuable to first lay down a heavy duty tarp from your house to the dealer, and then block off all the traffic- that way the wheels, god forbid, wont be touching the dirty road. And it can be that much more ceremonious at your house, in true pristine condition.

I may get ddriving gloves because if the shifter in the 401A package.
Acme said they would only gve me an engine and that the tarp I would have to get on my own.
Good choice but somehow I think the V6 will seem anything but slow.

And yea and at end of the day, it's your ride, and your time to soak it all in.
