"The wheels suck"
hahah thats funny...
THey always use those wheels on concepts...
They aren't the 2010s wheels...
Infact...
It's not really a 2010 at all...
its just the prototype for Ford Accessories new front end BRA to eliminate paint chips on the sucky paint.
(sense the sarcasm) :P

I would have to agree with George. Being that the only pieces disguised are the hood and front bumper I would guess this is a disguise for the new Bullitt or Boss. Probably a powertrain mule as well if either is going to get a new engine. Didn't Ford say the only panel not going to be changed in 09 is the roof?

Heh that pony was rode hard and put away wet....
I still think this gen is somewhat of a 'magic' balance of not succumbing to any trend in modern cars and being pure in simple because its what it is supposed to be. I think the next refresh might get a little gimmicky/trendy.

Looks like the fogs sit higher in the grill, or at least in realtion to the headlights. Hope it's just an illusion, I like the current car's all-in-line look when the fogs are on.

Forum member "Topnotch" showed an attachment of a drawing of the 09/10 Mustang. I know somebody who saw the new Stang up in Detroit, and Topnotch's attachment is close to what the car is going to look like. Its off in some areas, but its in the ballpark. The hood isn't that extreme, the tail lights aren't correct in the drawing, and the hip line what I've been told isn't as high. The front end to no surprise will look more related to the Shelby GT500, and there is a dash/interior change as well.

Follow the jump for an interview with Fabrizio Giugiaro, during which he confirms (at about 1:05) that the styling cues employed by the Giugiaro concept will find their way onto future Mustangs.

Point being, I don't think we know for sure WHAT we're looking at in those pics.
