Finally I got my babyy
I went from like a 150hp automatic fwd sedan to this and the torque is crazy, chirping third. I can't image the crazy torquez on a 5.0 let alone a gt500
Congrats on getting the Stang, Looking good.
I will be down that way at the end of the month, might be coming up with a GTG in the Orlando area or at Fantasy of Flight 10/27.
When you guys come down you gotta let all us Central FL guys know. Maybe get a photo shot of all our 'stangs together.
There's at least one other thread specific about the burning smell, cited even after revving at a standstill. My new one was definitely doing that too. Now with just over 500 miles, I haven't noticed it in a while.
I remember the day I picked up my first manual tranny car, a 1979 Mustang Cobra v8 (with a whopping 140 HP) and 4 speed. I wanted to hide someplace....I was the only customer in the place when I picked it up and I think I killed it 8 times trying to drive out of the dealership. The sales guy even came out and ask me if I needed any help. Don't worry, you get to the place where you are shifting without even thinking about it.
Congrats.. Looks like its similarly specified out like mine. Did you get the comfort package?
Good Luck with her. Even though I have driven stick for 99% of all my rides the clutch was a bit to get used to after my TT grabbed low and this grabs high.. Don't worry even seasoned manual owners can stall once in a blue moon.

Thanks for all the compliments
, regarding the questions though
Nope my username is mopar? just as a joke, I feel like old mopar muscle is where it's at but now they're dead. They made a legendary car(dart) into a sedan hybrid like come on...
Yeah I didn't stall at the dealership thank god but it's all part of the experience, backing up is still a bit weird and I stalled once doing that. Yeah it's not clutch smell, apparently it's all normal thank god!

Every single person that trys to drive my car stalls it because they start in third, afraid of reverse to the left. I did it too at the dealership on the first test drive. Felt sooo silly.
