Great color, trying to convince the wife to look at SGM or the other grey/silver choices once she sells the black 11 GT to our daughter after grad school.
Easy mods next, hood struts and sound tube delete. Then the axle back of your choice (love the GT500s) and an MGW shifter!
And finally, replace the factory 6x8s speakers in the doors, you can get a huge upgrade for under $100 from Amazon.
You are lucky you can enjoy your new Mustang now, we are still freezing up here in the Northeast...

Lots of threads on this in the audio section. Popular choices are JL Audio, Pioneer, Polk Audio, Infinity, JBL, etc, whatever you can find. You can spend as little as 30$ depending on the brand. The base, non shaker system is where the bean counters saved every last penny, as the components are junk! It's really not worth buying expensive speakers as I found out, because then you find the amp will deliver crappy sound, and will actually cut the bass freq. and put more power to the front channel to wring out every last watt. Had I known this before, I would have just got the $50 range speakers, instead of the costlier JLs.

I will be posting my stereo install thread in the audio section soon, full blown replacement of everything, including the door panels. I'm taking my sweet time on this project while I'm not driving it but will make more progress today in this balmy 50 degree heat wave!
Back on topic, I hope the OP will consider any of the 2 mods I listed. For ease of install, the hood struts and sound tube delete are the easiest/quickest. The MGW is simply the best mod of those listed, but will set you back 400 and change, plus a shift ball. Just learned you can get a small discount if you call to order and say you are buying because you are a forum member.

Thanks everyone!
My next mods are steda lowering springs, bmr pan hard bar, bmr lower control arm relocation brackets. I love the car but is a little too much wheel gap for me.
(I know everyone will tell me to do new shocks and struts at the same time, but I work @ a shop and do all my own install so there is no money savings for me to do it all at once so I want to try it piece by piece and fell the difference)
Should have it lowered in the next 4 weeks.
Then I am getting the ford power pack with the GT 500 mufflers, and the procal tuner. (I want to maintain my engine warranty as long as I can)
But as for now it sure is a Badass car especially for the money, as optioned and after rebates I got it for $30,500 before Tax&Lic.
No other car can touch it in performance per. dollar!
