I've listened to it 10 times, and somehow i'm still a bit sceptical about whether or not it is the real deal. It may just be a modified Mustang going around the track. Car passes by too fast to really tell. We should know in a few weeks for sure.

If we take what the driver said to be true (see post 19), then it is indeed a 2011 GT test mule. The only question is whether it's a stock 5.0L, or perhaps some other variant.

Although the OP stated the mirrors were green, to me they look like Yellow Blaze, while the wheels look like the Brembo Pack Star Trek rims.

Looks like driver and passenger are wearing a helmet. As for the Brembo package, no way i can tell with these pics even though it looks like the "19 inch darker wheels.

Any chance that you can get image of the vehicle that is following the mustang @ 0.29-0.30 in the clip?

I found that information over at The Smoking Tire. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

BTW, I thought the original posted vid was really funny, might get that for one of my friends who drives a Honda.

I tried several times, but wasn't able to isolate it. The best I could tell, there is only one very blurry frame of the front quarter of the car.

I love the sound of the 2011 in that prototype video. Reminds me of the V8 Vantage sound, which is a really raw, machine-gun like noise. I don't think anyone can complain about that sound.

That will sure get some attention form the local authorities when flooring it a bit too much.
Although it all depends on who's behind the wheel and how you look. Let me explain. My '69 ( check video sound link) makes quite a bit of noise with it's big cam and color, BUT i've never been pulled over or anything since the first day i got back on the road. So, if you look young, don't have the right hairstyle or something , that might get you pulled over a few times.

Nice sounding even at idle! Sounds like a 228 duration 110 degree lobe separation with about 11.0/1 compression ratio! Just at a guess! Who made the cam and what are the specs?!

Rich, i'd have to check my buildsheet for exact specs, but it is indeed an 11.0 to 1 compression engine, the cam is a Comp 292H, one of the most radical mechanical cam you can get. It gets attention no worries there. But cops never seem to mind. They mostly look at the car while i'm driving and just giving me the thumbs up.
