Final track pack thread

After talking to one of the engineers at my plant and having one I can proudly say that the track pack are more than. Smoke and mirrors.
And remember there are two performance stages for gt's
Stage 1) brembo brake package

14" Brembo® Vented Rotors with Brembo® 4-Piston Calipers
19 x 9.0-inch dark-stainless premium painted aluminum wheels
255/40R19 Pirelli PZero Summer-Only (Coupe) or P255/40ZR19 Goodyear F1 Supercar (Convertible)
Different Springs (131lbs Front / 167lbs Rear)
Different Struts/ Shocks (tuned for spring rates)
GT-500 Rear Lower Control Arms ( Higher Durometer Rubber)
Unique Electronic Stability Control® (ESC) Tuning
Unique Sport Steering Control Setting (EPAS)
Tire Mobility Kit Replaces Spare Tire

Stage 2) boss 302 track pack includes all of the brembo brake package plus

boss 302 oil cooler, M-6642-MB
boss 302 radiator, M-8005-MBR
boss 302 oil pan,M-6675-M50B
boss 302 axle asembly with 3.73 M-4001-A373
boss 302 torsen diff M-4204-MB
boss 302 diff cooler M-4033-K
boss 302 low expansion brake lines M-2078-MB
lol the track pack is a worth every penny
updated with part numbers, and the rumor at my ford plant and flat rocks has been busted no mechanical boss 302 parts are in gt track pack but even still they package is worth the money

what about the track pack for the GT. Your stage two is what a boss 302 has, the track pack gt if i remember correctly has the boss 302 oil cooler and torsen diff but not the forged internals + all the brembo brake pack stuff.

Love this Track Pack talk. Maybe there are more GT owners who can come forward with info on their track pack GT Mustangs.

I have always been curious but until someone takes their motor apart and can verify with pictured part numbers on the parts we will always doubt what is being said on the forums.

Any takers?

At any rate, I'm glad I bought the GT Track Package.

Why is it so hard to believe that our track pack cars have these sweet Boss components in our short blocks? Ive believed this from the start. Of course we'll never be 100% sure until someone cracks open a track pack engine. Why else would us TP guys be required to use 5W50 full synthetic? Well done OP. Im subscribed.

Possibly for increased longevity on the track.

If i was to go to the parts counter at my local Ford dealership and gave them my VIN and asked what part numbers show up for a replacement crank and rods, would that put this argument to rest?

Keep in mind that in 2013 the HP rating was changed and there was much speculation as to what equated to those additional 8 HP (or whether they were always there). From a financial standpoint Ford is not likely to run a special line of engines with different internal components. It's more likely that all the GT 5.0's have the same additions and not just the track pack cars.

Well how do u explain the different capacity and weight of oil between track pack 5.0s and regular 5.0s? Theres a difference right there.

I seriously doubt that a GT with Track Pack has Boss crankshaft & rods, LOL. I do know for a fact that all GT automatics with Brembo Package come with P255/40ZR19 Goodyear F1 Supercar tires, not the Pirelli's.

The capacity is with the Oil cooler added. The oil weight is for longevity, and it was my impression that 5W50 was recommended for all 2013+ 5.0's.
