My friends in SA and Houston always laugh at me when I'm driving in the car with them because I am not used to traffic. Midland is setup really nice, like you said with the loop and all. It's just amazing how many people there are here because of the economy now.

I have the quad tip GT500 axle backs and love them. They aren't as loud as the quad borla, but louder than then single tip GT500's. I am very happy with them and don't feel the need to change. I get a lot of compliments. No drone while cruising, but definitely loud on acceleration. Poor quality vid, but you get the point.

All the 13-14 dual tip GT500 mufflers I've heard on GT's have been quieter than the 11-12 single tip version.

Like the ones on cinizter's car.

This is also a good comparison:

And here's another good one - GT500 quads with x-pipe on a GT

OP, I was thinking of you this morning. I had to start (yes, "had to") her up this morning, so I recorded a couple vids in the process, just to hear my Borlas sing. Remember tho, I have the full catback, while you only have the axle back right? I had the axle back to start, then had to upgrade to full

enjoy.

Plus the supercharger does affect the sound output.

Some... It's actually virtually the same. The new Maggies are one of the quietest.

Not the noise the blower makes, the extra pop it puts into the exhaust.

Side pipes???

You mean actual side pipes that run down the side of the car?

You're joking, right???

Those aren't side pipes, just side exit exhaust.

Anyone have the Corsa GT500 Quad tips on their Mustang GT? Really thinking about going that route.

Semantics. When was the last time you saw a new car with exposed side pipes?

I plan on doing this in the spring along with ARH headers and catless h-pipe.

I was thinking about doing it with ARH headers and either a carted H or Catted X, can't really decide.

Definitely not just semantics, side pipes are different than side exit exhaust, that was why I questioned what the poster was asking about.

I've seen people do some pretty silly looking side pipe installs, big chrome pipes running down the side of a late model car, completely ridiculous.

Thanks for all your input, personal experiences and opinions on on all the different types of exhaust systems out there.

I am sitting waiting patiently (not) for the Fedex guy to deliver my Borla Axelbacks! This time Sunday I will be vroom vrooming around town.

Cannot wait!!!!
