Exhaust induced gas milage reduction!

I am sure this has been mentioned before but I just I stalled the steeda axle back exhaust and absolutely love the sound. I down shift more and accelerate harder just to here the rumble. My gas milage has gone from from 14.9 to 12.8. I am sure this will level out at some point but right now I love to hear it at wot. Just passing on that good modding feeling.

The warmer it gets, the lower your mpg will be. Keep that in mind

Yep....it will level out around 10........or less.........or more.........I no longer worry about it.... Between this and the F 150 Lightning mpg is not a subject in our house.

I am not sure if I am going to do a resonator delete with the steeda exhaust. It sounds pretty good as it is. But who knows.

No need to worry about it. All the tree-hugging, PETA-card-carrying Toyota golf cart drivers are saving all kinds of gas for us. So kind of them, as my Shelby LOVES it some 93 octane.

I'm glad the ricers are saving us gas. My mower will be needing plenty of their 87 this summer.

I just topped off the GT with 93 today. Thought I would get 'er done before the price went up again. Also bought a car wash and saved 20 cents per gallon.

Wow I must be a wuss when I'm driving or something I feel like I get on it hard every time I drive it but I still average 17.4mpg. Supercharged fuel economy!? Unless you all drive strictly city.

Edit: ah skipped over slow rider's post

I'm getting almost 17mpg in town. I have only 200 miles on the car so far. Like you, I jump on it occasionally, which cuts into fuel economy. But like I always say, "You gotta pay to play."
