Exhaust + Air Filter + E85 + 200lbs removed + Slicks = 11.20 @120.5MPH

I threw an AFE air filter into the stock box and headed back out to the track.
I could NOT match the ET of last week with the WMS cold air.... Until I made some tune modifications. Ended up making some serious headway tonight. I've got to review the data logs further, and send off the tune revisions + logs to piers for review.
All in all a good night, although the temps are making the track very tricky. This was my ONLY sub 1.7 60ft of the night.

BMR Lower control arm Relocation brackets are on their way.

Wow! Nice run.
So the thread title is a bit misleading though. You didn't mention the slicks, and porting

How close to the danger zone are you with that global spark advance?

I forgot to mention- excellent driving there. I'm nowhere near getting a good launch like yours...I either spin or bog.

You obviously know what you're doing.

Did you lift between shifts? I can't imagine how hard you must have shifted chirp the slicks in 3rd gear...

Yeah, sorry about the miss leading title.
I guess I should have put in there: E85, 200lbs weight reduction, and sticky tires

I'm running zero in the global timing adder.
The timing curve is very similar to an aggressive 93 octane tune, but the car runs E85. (5 degrees more than Factory stock)

I really don't want to get into another pissing match, but thats not very impressive to me. What was the DA when you ran?

I guess I should clarify and say the MPH is what's not impressing me. The ET is really really good, but thats due to the 15" wheels (probably skinnies up front I can't watch the video), weight reduction, slicks, driveshaft, powershifting, and probably some suspension stuff. The MPH is the real indication of power, I'm surprised its not higher.

Plus TUNED for the E85!

Maybe ask a Mod to change the title on this? Something like, "Modified + E85 = 11.2"

I read the first title and thought I sucked at driving. I then read the thread and realized there's shenanigans going on. misleading.....

I tried to edit the title.

I do not powershift, and power is 430RW SAE.
Within 10 of most mildly modified 5.0's.

There's all kinds of torque truncations in the factory tune that I've removed which has helped ET. Things like trans, clutch, tip-in, tip-out all of which pull power multiple times in a 1/4 mile run. My 60's benefited greatly, as well as MPH.

I've run as fast as 122.6 MPH (once) and hit 121.x multiple times.

Creative title.

Not surprised.

Which "peers" are you sending the tune to this time? Heard you've been kissing up to Lund.

Very surprised to hear that after all that's occurred. Especially the bad mouthing of him that you've done.

Great time none-the-less, but I thought we were running my Whipple against your stock '12.

Oh yeah, red lighted it?

Notice I said the mph. That ET is all car mods not engine/tuning ones. Everyone knows these motors make plenty of power.

Just saying, If he wants to run I will meet him at the track.
He can choose the date. I don't live far away.

I do not have longtubes. Only exhaust mods are a Lethal H and GT500 axle back.

Man! Haters gonna hate. Good times op. I'm guessing that you are trapping at the top of 4th gear? Mph means nothing in a drag race. ET racer will beat a much stronger car. It already doesn't sound like a friendly race. Are y'all putting up any cash on the race?

I agree on the track thing. Neither of you are gonna hook your setups on the street anyway. And a roll race would be pointless even if it wasnt stupid to begin with.
