Just keep in mind that "left the plant" doesn't mean it shipped. It could be sitting on the lot. According to the Ford rep I spoke with on more than one occasion, once it leaves the factory, it's "in transit."

Mine has been "in transit" since 5/6. And it's still not here and no idea when it will get here. But I WILL get an update today.

 

Intransit doesn't mean a thing! Mine was shipped 4/24 with a delivery date of 5/5!
Guess what? Nobody knows anything!
Must have been shipped via California to Iowa!

 

Wonderful.... I just hope it's here by June so I don't have to hope for good FMC financing options.

 

Rail car was emptied and released by the customer about an hour away from me, I am hoping to take delivery before the weekend.

 

I hope that "somewhere between chicago and michigan" isnt the storage lot across the

Just call customer service. They must have finally figured out my 5/5 delivery wasn't going to happen!

Well from my personal calls to the 800# I went from lot 51 to in Transit over a week ago. The dealer calls I received the past week were seperate. I've never told him I'm checking the status myself. His confidence of this week seemed true and he hadn't called me before then other than responding to an email request for my vin. Of course the bottom line is it will get her when it gets here. Don't fight things you can't control. That's where stress comes from.

 

Dealer got e-mail saying delivery would be week of 5/16. Ordered on 3/25--built 5/12. Dealership is less than 10 miles from factory. MSRP is $36490 A/Z plan is $32850.68 X plan is $34269.16 Customer cash by zip code is $500 plus I should get $1500 renewal cash for turning in wife's Focus end of April. Ford just gave me 2 more X plans and active MCA members will be getting X plan in June.

 

Just got the GF to call and get an update.

My ETA got bumped back a week from 4/30 to 5/7, but the CS rep said it's "Awaiting shipment" this time, not "In transit" like the last one did.

I honestly have no idea WTF is going on, but the rep said to just call my dealer from now on. He said to "expect ti in my driveway shortly" but I don't believe that.

Wish there was car tracking like there was for packages.

 

When I called Ford CS on Friday they gave me a hard time also about calling the dealer instead of them but they didn't have an updated ETA. They just had the same old "in transit" response.

 

I suspect we're annoying them.

 

My GT was built 5/6/2010 as scheduled. Called Ford CC a week ago, they said car was "In transit." That translated to <Que the horror movie music> ....located in AREA 51, with an ETA of 5/24/2010. Called CS today for an update, was told ETA is still 5/24/2010 but the car is still located on Ramp 51... Been there almost two weeks now. sigh

 

Ordered 2-1-2010. Was told three weeks ago would arrive 5-20. Arrived 5-17 and in the garage now.

 

What's the last 6 of your VIN, if I may ask?

 

Anyone know how long the truck companies have to ship a car to the dealership? It's sitting an hour away at a distribution yard, was unloaded from the railcar yesterday.

 

Nevermind, my car is in. 5/4 built, left on rail last tuesday and took a week to get here.

Mine was built 5/6 with an ETA of 5/14. Nada. Hasn't even been shipped.

 

Picked her up. Amazing car, I took some pics but I will post them later tonight as I am about to head out and put more miles on lol.
