Eibach Pro-System-Plus Suspension Questions

I recently ordered a BMR adjustable phb, Eibach camber bolts, and the Eibach pro system plus. This kit includes Eibach shocks, struts, springs, and sway bars. Should I order some LCA/UCAs as well? What else would I need with the control arms?

On a side note, MGW should be here tomorrow.

You will need relocation brackets for LCA's. I would go with BMR because they have a notch for sway bar clearance. Might as well get panhard support brace also.

I believe it is because the car will be lowered. I am trying to get as much as possible done at once, so I'm open to all recommendations and suggestions.

Improves Traction, helps eliminate wheel hop and Corrects the suspension geometry when the car is lowered.

Wait a minute.. Is replacing the LCAs absolutely necessary? I was thinking about getting the same kit, eibach pro, along with steeda PHB, gt500 strut mounts, eibach camber bolts, and boss strut tower brace. Is the LCA replacement absolutely necessary aswell?

This is an excellent guide on LCAs and pinion angle.

http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/LCA%20_adj.htm

If you upgrade your shocks when you lower your car, you might not necessarily 'need' brackets to maintain good traction. Having LCAs tilted upwards will cause the rear axle to 'lift' on hard acceleration, but decent spring/shocks seems to negate the effects of it.

However, if you're lowered, the brackets will greatly increase ride quality. Putting the arms back to parallel allows the rear end to move properly when going over speedbumps, bumps on the highway, etc.

are the relocation brackets adjustable?? Not all lowering kits are the same. That why I said he doesn't absolutely NEED them if you are lowering the car. Adj PHR is pretty necessary though

my car is very new still, only 3 months and less than 3000 miles. so all my parts are in good shape. also i dont race, so i dont think i need them, however, seems like the greatest benefit to replacing is better ride quality after lowering, which i AM interested in bigtime.

So to be clear, if i get them, i dont need to buy the entire control arm assembly again, ONLY the relocation brackets? Again i plan to get the Eibach Pro-kit package and steeda phb

I would check with someone where you are buying the kit. They should be able to advise you what relocation brackets would work with the stock arms. A benefit with new arms will be better bushings and stronger arm. My mechanic recommended changing them for that reason plus it was worth $140 investment since the other components of the suspension were being upgraded. I can tell you the handling on my car now is night and day different from stock. It is so much more fun to drive and ride quality is great.

It was recommended to me by the speed shop I use to get relocation brackets even for my modest 1" drop using Eibach springs and dampeners. I went with BMR brackets since they are pretty inexpensive for the excellent quality of the parts received. I agree with rk2112 above, once everything was in the difference in handling is night and day. I was very impressed with the new ride quality.

I installed the Eibach Pro System Plus, Camber bolts and an J&M panhard bar on my 2011 about 6 months ago and did not use relo brackets.
The Pro system advertises a 1.5 inch drop in rear, I only got 1 inch lower in rear. No problems thus far. I've considered going with LCA's only because of slight axle hop on launch (same as it did before the Eibach kit) which will get rid of the squishy stock bushings.

The relo bracket conversation really peaked my interest. Now I'm thinking I may need to buy more stuff for my car

Best to do it right and get new arms and brackets to correct the rear geometry. Might not notice that it is needed on the street except maybe on hard launches. Assuming you're getting different suspension components because you want to drive the car harder you should get the brackets at least. Lowering isn't entirely cheap.
