E85 conversion help please
Okay guys so here’s my first post, let’s see if it goes well. I have a 2013 Mustang gt, I have an air raid cold air intake, 85mm throttle body, bbk longtube headers, and a bbk off-road catless x pipe. That’s all as far as “power” mods. I am also BAMA tuned I should mention. Now, I wanna as curious to converting over to e85. Ive read that I’d need 47lb injectors and just a tune to support it but I was wondering if there was any other recommended upgrades also. Also, would e85 make a big difference in power at this point? I’ve been thinking of getting the boss 302 intake and maybe cams at one point but I’d like to do e85 before cams. Anyways, thanks for any kind of help guys

You will lose power. You will, as mentioned, lose gas mileage. And while I'm sure the car will do it, there's a chance the higher Ethanol will introduce problems in the fuel system.
Further, you'll spend money to do it, and spend money to run it through the car, more than you would with gas by far.
I just don't recommend it. Stick with what it's supposed to run, and pocket the savings from not playing around with E85.
Further, you'll spend money to do it, and spend money to run it through the car, more than you would with gas by far.
I just don't recommend it. Stick with what it's supposed to run, and pocket the savings from not playing around with E85.
