Question E brake handle question?

So I pulled my car out of storage last night and I noticed something that never bothered me before (but does now)

My ebrake Handle doesnt sit flat/flush in its cutout of the center console when the brake is off.

My question is: Is your car like this?
If it is not, do you know if the stop for the handle is adjustable?
I havent taken the console apart yet (at work right now) so I figured I would pose the question to TMS.

Mine looks the same ... certainly not going to let it bother me !!

If there is a way to adjust it down, it looks like the button will hit the console.

Mine sits flush when down. I don't recall seeing any adjustment in the handle itself when I had the console apart.

Mine sits in the same position. The leather wrap is also starting to wear where my leg sits against it. I wonder if I can get it replaced under warranty?

Overboost, you must have a different handle than the rest of us, becuase mine sits exactly like Shaun's as well.

Can we maybe get a picture showing how yours sits? Is the handle shorter?

I'm going purely on memory. I could've sworn it sits parallel to the console. I will look after work and see.

I'm currently away from home so I can't look at the car and I don't have any pics with the e-brake off. Going off memory I want to say mine is flush. I found this pic of a '10 on the web that looks like it sits flush. I know when I adjust in my seat my thigh has lifted the handle a couple times, not enough to apply the brake but enough to cause the dash light to come on. Maybe this is something that changed to fix that.

I'm pretty sure it's an ergonomic design since it's more natural to pull at an angle from your side vs. straight up.

I've got both 2010 full (dealer) & reduced (mailed) brochures and the full 2011 brochure ... there are at least a half dozen different interior shots from various angles in these 3 and ALL show the handle sticking up slightly like in my car & shaun's none look like that pre-production pic ksguy posted.

Anyone have a brake that won't stay up? When I get it up if I barely hit it with my hand it pops down. And no getting it up jokes.

Nope, mine works flawlessly, and i use it all the time. I say it's time to pay your dealership a visit.
