E brake fix

For those of you who don't know. I'm sure do though. You can adjust your e brake in your middle console for those complaining of how it doesn't lay flat when not engaged.

Does it affect the tension of the ebrake when engaged?

should be noted that this is not really a "fix" per se since there is nothing wrong with it...

No its not. I had been putting the rear of my car on jack stands to level the e-brake handle when parked and have been looking for a solution that worked when I was driving the car.

But seriously, its not bad to know you can level it if you want to. From other threads there are people who do.

See, I thought he was going to tell people how to adjust the e-brake. That didn't happen. He just said that you could. Which, I suppose, is slightly useful but it left me unfulfilled. Just sayin'. Also I didn't understand half the post.

I'm with you about not understanding half of it. But if its the other half, maybe we can compare notes and figure this all out. LoL.

I am going to assume he means from inside the center console storage compartment. There is a plate inside there directly behind the e-brake that pops off giving access to the e-brake. There is probably an adjustment screw or something in there, I haven't looked hard.

Thanks for the " figure out by yourself how to get the e-brake flush with center console " thread.

.....but i like the way it's angled right now for quick and easy access.
