Dual exhaust tips for my 5.0
When my 5.0 arrives, my 1st mod will be a catback. I dont like the single tip look that everyone will have. Any chance I can fit dual exhaust tips without replacing the rear valance? I want a set of hooker's on my ***!

I don't know if that will fit without getting a different rear valance. The dual pipe might be too wide for the size of the slot. I actually put those tips on my 91 GT because I had cut outs in my rear bumper. They looked awesome and I even had quite a few compliments. I ended up buying a flowmaster catback system and new rear bumper so they had to go.

You could get a Saleen rear bumper cover and have the tips come out in the center, then if you used the twin tips it would look like a vette...

Please, save yourself the money and use it on a proper exhaust and don't think twice. That looks awful. Very "I went to Pepboys and had a giftcard and bought these" kind of look to them.

I agree, I had the 4 exhaust tips on a 91 Cutlass Supreme International and always wondered WHY my exhaust was designed to look fake. The idea of them coming out the middle makes it look like it's trying to be some foriegn car or a Corvette, in my opinion.

If the OP is set on them, I think these would look better if the tips were staggered to follow the contours of the rear fascia opening. The inner tip should be flush with the center of the fascia, then the outer tip should be tucked in more, as the outer fascia cuts in away from the car. IMO, if you're going to do it, that's the only way to make it look decent. I'll chop something in a bit so you can see what I'm saying...
