I traded my 11 GT a week ago, to surprise my wife with an automatic. I never considered going down to a v6 until I drove one with the performance upgrades.

What a great ride, added Ford Racing exhaust and a CAI, don't hate on the V6, a really great Mustang!

Relax, not spamming. My phone was saying it wasn't posting, when it actually is.

This is all BS, the more I drive the V6, the more I don't like it. The dealer is taking it back, picking up at GT on Saturday.

So you went from "love it" to "hate it" in a week...?

. I guess I did, love all the bells and whistles, but the fun isn't there at all. Anyone else experience that?

Nope. My V6 has plenty of power for me, especially on the street. I might be looking for more power if I was on the track a bunch.

Good to hear that it has grown on you! It is a pretty sweet engine and from an aesthetics standpoint, I think the '13-'14 V6 cars look better than the GTs (in my opinion).

Seriously I'm curious, what did you expect? Sure the v6 is great but you went from the gt to the v6, of course there is going to be a difference.

I went from an 02 gt (idiot ran a stop sign and totaled it) a 12 v6. I miss the rumble and tourqe but i dont miss the gas pump. Im pretty happy with the new v6's but i really want back into a v8. Im addicted to the power!

I would surprise her with 6 speed driving lessons before getting all out of control and trading down to an auto sixxer

That's why you should always "floor it" on a test drive!

OP, you put me in mind of a woman who finds the "perfect" man... then sets out to improve him. Still, it's tough that you are going to take a $$ hit at your local stealership. I hope you wind up with a keeper that makes you and the wife both happy.
