does rear shocks really improve ride quality?
Correct me if im wrong but i thought all aftermarket makes ride abit more harsh by firming up the suspension. Has anyone upgraded their rear shocks with koni adj yellows or fixed orange? notice any ride quality changes? btw my ride is not lowered, still sitting on stock springs which i dont plan to change out for many reasons but wonder if it will make any noticeable difference.

My passenger rear shock blew out a couple of years ago. Rather than do warranty I just replaced the rears myself with Koni orange. I really notice no difference other than they have not leaked out their fluid like the stocker so far.

I believe they are better suited/valved for lowering springs. The life time warranty is a bit of a pain over going with something local with a life time warranty. You either have to ship your old bad koni units back to Koni or buy replacements for half price. Then ship the bad ones back after installing the new pieces. Then they either refund the money you paid or charge you the other half. Both my front Konis leaked and I have been driving on them for a while now.

"wow how did you blow out your stock shocks?"
Before I got snow tires for the winter I used to keep a decent amount of weight in the trunk to help get thru snow. This may or may not have done it, only one shock lost it's fluid and that happens to shocks from time to time.

shouldn't be a problem. Use a tread depth gauge and check the depth every so often to make sure your tires wear evenly.
