Just j/k, I'm sure you are referring to the black mustang. Google "GT570R" it's a kindig design. Those are 24" wheels on the back!

I think there is something to what you're saying. When I used to smoke, I'd stop at a park or some roadside Civil War memorial to get out and burn one when I was out cruising in the 500. I can't even count how many times I've had some POS pickup truck, 80's Camaro, Honda with a fart can, even sport bikes, drive by when I was parked and just rev the s**t out of their engine while I was standing there.
I don't ever remember it happening when I would be in the SGT or GT/CS, just the 500.

Truth be told, I don't get TOO many people who want to race, but the only ones I've had try to get me to race them have been when I was driving the 500. Two of them have happened recently, though I might be able to blame that on the new plates for it. I got them more as a conversation-starter at meets and drive-ins, but I guess when people see MACH207 they feel like they need to prove to me that their car is, in fact, faster than a GT500 that's gone 207mph. I don't rise to it, ever, because I know when I do I'll be involved in a wreck that ends someone's life at worst, and at best ends my ownership of the car. No point. I still get thumbs-up from most drivers though, all except vettes. ****'em.

I was the same way with the SGT. Not a soul wanted to race me, they just wanted pictures of it.

You're right though. Too risky. Not worth killing/seriously injuring someone or yourself.

i don't know about you guys in the states where it doesn't snow. But... its the time of season here where its starting to warm up again. Just picked up my little one on friday after school and had some dude drive towards me in a Camaro, revved the hell out of it. not sure if he's trying to say "hello" or what the deal is but, it happens A LOT... its the season for guys to get out their toys and be foolish! I DD my 4 seasons of the year so, I guess I don't have that itch that most do.
Granted, I'm itching to throw my 19's back on and have a little bit of fun myself.
