Mine does not. The booklet shows a key with the release.

My GT Premium convertible does.

The version of the car may dictate whether you get remote trunk release.

They all have the trunk release on the key.

Are both keys like that or just one? and does the back of the key have a pony on it?

I ordered mine with a remote start which the dealer hasn't figured out yet. I will be dropping of the car this Wednesday. I requested that the key have a trunk button but he said they dont' come them. The back of the key has 2 engine icons with iccons on how to start the car with the remote. There is no fob.

Built Aug. 8th/Arrived at Twin Oaks Aug. 21st/ Dealership Aug. 30th/Picked up Aug. 31- V6 Auto Premium Ingot silver black int. Remote Start Spoiler and stripe delete.

Mine does; 4 buttons (lock, unlock, trunk, panic), Pony logo on the back. No remote start (6 speed MT). 2012 GT Premium.

There is no Pony logo on the key. I came across a Ford F150 with the exact same key as I have. 2011 Remote Start / Key FOB - F150online Forums Scroll down to around post 14 and you'll see the exact same key with the 2x with circular arrow.

Perhaps the remote start button takes the place of the trunk button?

My 2011 500 came with Ford on the back. If the key doesn't have a trunk release, how do you open the trunk? There isn't a key hole for my trunk.

yeah, if you have the remote start key then you won't have the trunk button.

suprised they have it that way as they usually have a seperate remote start fob...

I'm no expert, but I would probably push the button on the console.

Perhaps there's a key combination you've overlooked? Or just press and hold the "start" button/etc? Or maybe someone decided that people don't need to remote start their cars and open their trunks remotely.

Are you being serious? Does yours not have that? I think I also recall reading in the owner's manual that there is a key slot somewhere between the rear seat cushions in case the battery is dead and the console button won't work.

Here's that from the manual; looks like it's only on the vert though:
