Different size wheels....

Wondering...can you run 18 inch wheels in front and 19's in back? I am thinking yes since the GT500 runs 19 and 20's but just wondering. If I order 2 AMR 18 by 8's for the front and reuse my stock front tires (or 2 18 by 9's but not sure if the stock 235's fit on them) and then order 2 AMR 19 by 10's for the back and buy 2 Pirelli 275/40-19 tires (and use all 4 of my TPMS units) I can save quite a few bucks, plus could either trade in or sell the 2 leftover tires or save them to use on the front when they wear out.

You could run a different size wheel on each corner if you wanted to.

But to do it just to save a few bucks is false economy since you will have to eventually replace all four anyway.

But the replacement fronts are already paid for, so it would only be the back tires I would replace...plus I only put about 2,000 to 3,000 miles a year on the car so it will be years down the road before they need replacing.....going this route would be about 350 to 400 cheaper than buying the staggered set from AM....
