Differences Between Exhaust

Does anyone know the difference between the single GT500 and the Dual outlet GT500 Exhaust?I ordeered a 2014 GT with track pack and want the look of the GT Cs rear Valance or the GT500.

I really like the GT CS rear Valance so is the single Gt500 Exhaust outlet the same as the Dual?

I have a 2014 GT TP and I recently installed the single tip GT500 a/b. I love the sound!

If you search this forum you'll find threads and even comparisons of the Quad tip GT 500 a/b as well. I could be wrong, but if memory serves the quads are actually a bit more quiet than than the single tip GT500s.

Also, it depends on the sound/look you're looking for. You can always do a resonator delete if you think the volume is too low.

Not really understanding the question.

The difference is one tip.

You also have to use the GT500 rear valance to allow the dual tips.

Could be camera/video quality, but in most of the videos I've seen, the quad tip seems deeper. I went with a quad tip setup and love it. I've gotten several compliments on it. My neighbor came over yesterday just to ask me to start it up haha.

I am wanting to know if there is a performance or Sound Difference between the 2 types of GT500 Mufflers. One has one tip the other has two.

I really like the CS rear Valance so I could use the single. But if there is a difference i will use the Dual..

Thank you for your Advice on this. I have tried searching but to no avail. I will try searching on what you suggested. If your avatar is what car you have I love the Color.. That was my first choice but changed to Ruby Red because I have a 2006 in silver and my Suburban is Silver...

I have the quad tips and love them. Friend at work has single tip and mine are clearly louder even with the resonators still on.

Thanks for the correction Last1, sounds like I got that backwards.

Jazzman, yes, I have a Sterling Gray Track pack. I love the color too. It was between this and Deep impact Blue for me.

LMR has a video of both, but not a side to side comparison. Hopefully they used the same camera

here is the quads:

and here is the single. Video is halfway down the page:

Good luck!

Thank you for the video. I love the look and the sound of the Dual Gt500 mufflers and valance. I saw a 2014 GT CS with he rear valance and I love that too. The GT CS Front Splitter is the best I have seen on a Mustang.
