I'm looking to buy a Shelby. Spoke with dealer, and the dealership already has an order in for one. He says he expects the order to be pulled any day now. He says I can change it to what I want as long as it hasn't been pulled. If I put a deposit on it, he will change the car to what I want, and give me a purchase order number.
My question is, does this mean he has a 2nd quarter allocation? Is a purchase order number proof of an allocation? When does DORA come into play?

Please help me understand the process. I'm getting the car on X-plan.
