OR how about those "flappers" you see sometimes on big rig exhausts. You could replace the spring with an industrial one so they only open from the inside with the exhaust pressure!!!

Another vote for CDC. I had one installed on my '07, '08, and '12. A quality piece that is very solid... and it looks OEM.

NO ... because this type has SPIKES that go through the carpet and dig into the styrofoam block under the carpet.

The CDC pedal mounts to the inner door post sheet metal and hovers above the the factory dead pedal carpet area so you can use just about anyone's mats (Lloyd's Carpet Mats & Huskyliners for sure).
