i placed an order on a 2013 GT around 2/17 and its ETA is around 4/27

there is currently $500 rebate on 2013 models, but it expires 4/2 but since i ordered before 4/2 i can still take advantage of the $500 rebate?

Plus i received $750 ford private cash. It says this $750 private cash can be used in addition to any current public offers. but at the bottom it says "take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 04/13/2012 , so would this $750 expire when I'm picking up the car on 4/27 ??

I guess im trying to confirm exactly if i get $1,250 off during pick up of the vehicle or do i see what other offers available during mustang pick up and see what i can use then?


they make things a bit confusing so less people take advantage of this I'm assuming

 

I had read that there is a way to lock in the rebate that was available when you ordered the car but I'm not sure if you have to do something special when you order to make that happen or not.

As far as the $750 goes, just order another brochure from Ford. I got my brochure in last week and the coupon is good through 5/11/12. So that may work for you.

 

Hey bud, you do get the $500 rebate, no matter what. Ford has Incentive Protection Programs for all factory orders. You won't lose any rebates when you order a car. It can only get better.

The $750 private offer can also be used. If the car comes in after its expiration date on your coupon, the dealer just has to ask their zone rep to ask him/her to extend the offer. It should be done. Any questions bud, let me know.

The $500 national, yes. The $750 private offer, I believe its a no. It says it right on the letter in the small print on the bottom where the program number is. It says what type of sales are not allowed, and I believe A/Z/D are not allowed with the use of the coupon.

 

Nuts. Getting the mail will be much less exciting now.
