Looks like I got the same style arms so I'll just have to wait for these to go out then go back with the new TSB.

That's the fix right there brother. Had my LCA's replaced using the shield's, and at approx 8K miles later all is quiet

I had heard of instances where the things started making noise again without the shields. My service guy said he had that problem also. Hopefully your's won't, but as we know time will tell. Good luck.

I've done it three times, with shields currently and having a groan - not gonna do anything more with ford... probably end up replacing / lowering as I also have a squeak from time to time in the rear (linkage?) that just drives me crazy...

Does anyone have a picture of the old ones and then the new replacements? Also does anyone know what the differences is in the new ones?

If you're still under warranty I would say give it a try. The heat shields are supposed to cure the problem, but as we see now it's not 100%. But, you may get lucky.

I'm getting a squeak from the rear too now. Taking my car in Monday to get the fronts replaced and the damage fixed from when a guy backed into me.

Yep. I'm getting the squeak in the rear sway bar also Steve. Going in for an oil change tomorrow. I'll bet the thing will be as quiet as a church mouse when I get there.

I booked my appointment to have this looked after but it was quiet so I couldn't show them the noise... Only when it's cold it happens

My car is getting the LCAs replaced right now. I'm sure that I will just put some white teflon tape around the rear sway bar when I get my car back for the sway bar squeak. Hopefully they use the shields on mine.

The shields has helped mine Steve, so hopefully it will your's. I took mine in yesterday, and you know it wouldn't make even a peep. The service lady said when ever I wanted she would fix it as they have already fixed a couple, and she knows the problem. I'm lucky to have a great dealer with an excellent service department.

@HizliBullet, mines the same. Quiet on a warm day, but when it's cold.........it's crazy loud.

Got my car back Wed night after work. It was raining a little. The repair of the damage is flawless. It looks like it did when it was new. They did a great job. As for the LCA replacement, she drives like she did when she had less than 1000 miles on the clock. I got to take my favorite twisty back road and she did better than before. More precise.
