A couple questions regarding the V6 Premium convertible

I'm getting ready to order a 2012 V6 Premium convertible, and besides I can't find a picture of a Mustang in Lava Red, (I know there are pictures of a 2010 F-150 in Lava Red, but you can only get a gereral idea of what the color looks like), there are a couple other issues that have me frustrated - maybe someone here can help.

The 2 issues I have are - #1 - why is the 3.31:1 rear axle only an option on the V6 coupe? On Mustangs going to Canada it's standard on the V6 Premium coupe AND convertible. Why can't I order it on the V6 Premium convertible for delivery to the U.S. ?

My second issue is: Why can't I order a cloth top on a V6 Premium convertible? Again, it's an option for those Mustangs going to Canada, but only available on the GT convertible here.

Any help would be appriciated..... Thanks!

There are no real pictures of a 2012 Mustang in lava red because there hasn't been one built yet but there's a photoshop of one in this thread. The other questions are best directed to Ford. I suspect the options are set to generate sales of higher priced models.

Yup, you are only going to get guesses and conjecture as to why Ford does things the way they do.
