Corsa axle back exhaust system for 11 v6
Does anyone here have the Corsa axle back exhaust system for their 2011 plus V6 or 5.0. I'm looking for people who are using this system with headers and either high flowing or off road x pipe. I've been reading that Corsa claims their mufflers give off no cabin drone and wanted to get one's perspective on this claim. Is this claim the same no drone for people who have headers and off road x pipe or is there still some drone. I don't mind crazy loud on the outside, however I don't want to hear loud humming and drone in the car. I have 3:73 gears and rolling 75 will put me at 2400k rpm's. At those rpm levels the drone is pretty intense with having the headers and off road x pipe.
I currently have Flowmaster axle back force II mufflers and looking to greatly reduce or get rid of the drone. Any thoughts on this. Exhaust system when it comes to the cabin drone and tone of the exhaust. Is the tone a lower pitched , deeper sound? I had no drone with my current exhaust system however that has changed since the headers and off road x pipe, I certainly don't want to spend the money on a whole new exhaust system if its not going to stop or even greatly reduce the drone.
I'm also looking to have installed two glass pack resonators on my current Flowmaster exhaust with the hopes of greatly reducing the drone. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Based on my goal to get rid of or greatly reduce the drone should I one, keep my current exhaust system and have installed the two glass pack resonators.
Second choice , sell my current Flowmaster system and buy the Corsa axle back system .
