Correlation Between MT Experience and Transmission "Issues"?

I know, I know. Not another thread on this topic

I noticed that the majority of the owners reporting no problems with the transmission stated that they are experienced manual drivers (20+ years for some).

As m4reapr also pointed out, I'm wondering if these issues are occurring more among "inexperienced" manual drivers (like myself) because of bad shifting habits and whatnot.

My issues went away with the TSB for fluid change.

I also just got the TSB fluid change done, hope it helps with the HARD shifting in cold weather.

How long do you let the car warm up on cold days (under degrees) before you shift hard? I live in Memphis and we actually got a lot of cold days last winter. The shifting was stiff for a good 5-10 minutes then it worked great. I think that is about normal for any manual. I've only been driving them for 10 years though and my experience is limited to a 2001 Mustang GT with the tr3650 and my neighbor's old Honda.
