Color combos...

Why does Ford restrict certain color combos?

No grabber blue with stone interior this year.

No blaze yellow with saddle.

Now, on the blaze yellow and saddle, is it because it would look like a banana rotting from the inside out?

Still don't know why they won't just let you order whatever color combo you want.

Also, no Red Candy with Brick Red. That was available in 2010.

It's probably just the Taste Police exerting their influence, but I agree with you - if you're paying for it, you should be able to get any combo you want.

its probably more to protect against a foolish dealer ordering up a weird combo that will rot on their lot for 2 years and have to be discounted 50%, than a customer with unique taste. I think if the customer uses that new retail order verification or whatever they call it they should let them do as they please no matter how strange, GB with brick red and a black over the top stripe anyone?

Why do you think? $$$$$. I doubt Ford sold very many Grabber Blue mustangs with stone interior. They save money by getting rid of a build configuration hardly anyone wants.

I personally think grabber blue with stone leather looks great.

And there really aren't any paint/interior color combos that look really strange together.

I know at the Dealership I got mine from, there were 2 Grabber Blue Black Topped GT Verts with Stone interior they had a hard time getting rid of.
IMO The Stone did not go well with the grabber Blue, and since stone is the Default Color taking it off the list will probable save a few jobs when people are not paying attention when they are ordering cars.

Me too, that was my first choice. Looks like we both "settled" for Race Red instead.
