When stopped at a red light with my gt I left the select shift in 2n gear. Before moving forward and holding my foot on brake I shift toggle to 1st gear and I feel a bump the drive line. Anyone know what this is? Do all autos do this in the 13/14 model year? I know my car has done this since it was new. Thanks for any help with this matter.

 

if it feels weird and you know how to produce it every time, i'd take that into the dealership and have them look at it.

 

If my car is stopped I can't feel anything when I downshift from 2nd to 1st.

I agree with Deysha. Mine doesn't clunk. The fix may be as simple as reprogramming the tranny. Good luck.
