Clear bra
I cannot comment on the Xpel, I have seen it at SEMA, looks great. I have the original 3M on my 2006, it has a 5 year warrantee, now its almost 7 years in the Phoenix Heat and sun and still looks perfect. Either way it is clearly, Ha!, the best protection investment...
Can you see it??

I'm in Jacksonville and the place I'm looking at is called cool customz. I just found out that my girl is friends with the owner so I feel comfortable with the choice so far. A lot of good reviews as well. Can anyone comment on the prep work that is needed to make the install go smoothly? Is it just a wax removal solvent?
After reading this thread I decided to start research a place to hook up my Stang I just picked up before it receives any rock chips on it! The only problem is the one place that everyone is recommending here in OKC is wanting to charge me $700 to do the front bumper, 1/4 hood and headlights. I think that is a bit much and might look into places in Dallas or Tulsa that do it. What do you guys think?

That's a great deal then. Assuming the install is at least decent.
Most people don't realize that the normal bumper kit from Xpel only covers the front. To cover the top part of the bumper it requires a very wide roll and adds a lot to the price vs a normal car bumper.
