I hand calculate all my mpg's, the meter can be +/- 2mpg's or spot on...can't figure it out. I usually get about 16.5 in the city, the worst I've done is 15.1 and the best I've done is 18.5 all city by using the 2,4,6 gears under 2k shifts (that was a long and boring tank) just to see what it would do. On the highway I cruise about 10 over the limit so 75 to 85 and get 23.5 with the ac on and 24.5 with it off. I even drove through 3/4 of a tank with the cruise set on 100 and only slowed for traffic and the occasional CHP cruiser and got 22.1 for that fill up. I'm pretty impressed with my 3.31 gears and the highway manners of this car. On a side note, I just gassed up today at a Chevron station I rarely use (it's more expensive than other Chevrons) and only cause I was close to home, and when I was done I got a whiff of gas, and I mean real gas, not the oxygenated ethanol smelling crap. I found that really unusual as it is not labeled any differently. We'll see what the mileage does this tank.

It's a 20 minute drive over 18 miles which used .4 gal and produced 38 MPG. No cheating and you can't reproduce that without actually driving it.

Guys I got a 12 GT 3.73 here I'd like to know what's the best spot to shift up and ideal rpm I should be driving at for fuel Econ.... I try to stay under 2000 but the on board fuel Econ shows going down when rpm is low... According to on board computer my bars go up when I'm in 4th gear at 2700 rpm
