Check Fuel Fill Inlet

I keep getting this message Check Fuel Fill Inlet, so I checked under the car and found this. It seems like an exposed tube outside the loom, which may be a vapor vent or something. I checked the easy-fill inlet and it looks normal.

Any tips to get rid of this error message and confirmation on the use of this exposed tube?

Had the same problem. I found this guy on Youtube.

He gives instructions on how to clean the fuel inlet and then there is a link on how to properly clear the PCM codes.

Hope that helps.
