Be sure to "dump" it after a couple of thousand miles, or 5 BM's, which ever comes first.

There is still no proof that restrooms are necessary, juries still out.

Finally checked my catch can for the first time a few weeks ago. Approximately 1850 miles driven when I checked it.

This is why I say the JLT hasn't been flow tested and is too restrictive. One guy thought I was being rude but the owner as much as admitted that on another thread last week and said he was redesigning it (as well as eliminating plastic fittings). If that's all you're catching in 1800 miles, you're wasting your time with it IMO.

Mine is flow tested by a race shop specific to my engine (4.6L3V), and I get a half ounce every tankful (300 or so miles).

Thanks for the pic. I just had my oil changed at 9300 miles and noticed the last month that I was near the low normal range on the dip, about a quart low. I need breathers or a can. I still don't know what to do. Either way, oil in the intake is not good. I drive it hard every day when I can, and have time to clean the breather if necessary. Thanks.

My home made one caught this after 2 weeks (1000 mostly highway miles).

About 4 tablespoons worth:

I have a catch can that I got from my brothers car I'm thinking it should work. What do you think? It's this one.

Also depending on where you live it might not be smog legal due to the open breather vent. Just a heads up.
