I paid Woodbine Motorsports in MD $100 to do my install. Well worth the money (and it looked like it would be a huge PITA on jack stands).

Those instructions are for an axle-back system & the OP is asking about a catback. More specifically will it work using ramps or jackstands.

FWIW I put my axle-back mufflers on without raising the car at all. The rear of the car had enough room for me to crawl under there & just enough room to work everything loose. I didn't even have to remove my panhard bar. But, knowing what I know now.....it would have been MUUUUCH easier if I had removed it.

Sorry I can't help with the midpipe. I haven't changed mine yet.

I did all my werk off of jack stands laying on a piece of cardboard. Easy enough job to do in the driveway

Tracking on the cat back...

anyway....

Loosen the bolts and move the panard bar down (you'll be surprised how stiff it is, but pull down hard enough and it will move down out of the way)...

It took a bonafide car guy buddy (racer/restorer/etc) probably 90 minutes to install the cat-back dual kit for my '10 V6. With a lift and a dedicated shop full of tools. I can't imagine taking everything down and manuevering it out from under a car on jackjstands. Worth every bit of $100 to let somebody else do it.

have to agree 80 to 100 buck is pretty fair. If you can stand there and watch them do it even better. Center those tips.

Rick, take it to the shop really, well worth the $80. It'll save you a lot of swearing.

I installed a full offroad H pipe and axle pipes/mufflers on a 98 GT in a Sears parking lot on a 25*F day with wind whipping up under the car.

We'd have to keep cranking the car occasionally to warm the exhaust pipes up to keep us warm.

the car sounds great. im not going to do it the injustice of posting a video..

no matter how good you record it.. no matter how good your speakers are.. it wont sound anything like you hear on borla's site or you tube..

only issue i have it the tips stick out a little further than i would like..

the problem isn't the audio capture (well even if you use a good mic) the problem is the speakers that 99% of folks on the internet use to listen to videos.

pics of your tips sticking out farther than you would like? I shortened my pipes after the x pipe so mine would not stick out farther than I wanted

i already took them i just need to upload them off my phone.. heading out for the night in a few.. ill try to get them up tomorrow..

as for sound with speakers.. FWIW i have Klipsch 4.1 system for my computer it puts out over 400watts clean.. (discontinued over 6 years ago) you can still get the 2.1 and i cant get it to come close to what these sound like in person ( ex. IASCA Judge)
