I was consistently getting 4.9s 0-60's with a CAI, 3.73's and 93 hybrid Bama tune(stock wheels to be upgraded soon.) After installing a one-piece aluminum driveshaft and BBK throttle body I have yet to hit 4.9 and am basically getting 5.1 or 5.0. Figured they definitely wouldn't hurt the time at all as they are performance improvers. I did ask for new tunes from Bama, any chance the new 93 hybrid isn't as aggressive as the old one? It almost feels like there isn't as much wheel spin from a stop as there was and that I have more traction than I did.

I ran an average of 5.3 seconds to 60. Then i added my aluminum driveshaft and 3.73 gears, now my times average 7.8 seconds . I have no traction but i'm happy My power increase is hard to believe.

Could be a bad tune. Have Bama check it.

Too many variables there. Seems like the tune or throttle body could be responsible.

Was the traction control in the same mode for all these tests?

I blame the throttle body.

There's a ton of different variables that could play into this, however we can definitely do everything in our power to make sure it's not something on our end. We send out thousands of tunes and build them all from the ground up for your PCM code and your mods. They're not just "canned" tunes, they're built custom by our team, so every once in a while it's possible we mess one up! We'll definitely get it straightened out for you, though if this is the case! Give one of our Bama Tuning Specialists a call and they'll work with you to figure out exactly what's going on.

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance.

-Dan

I guess I find trap speed more indicative of true speed and power as compared to 0-60 times.

Yes it was the same every time.

Any reason the throttle body would be the reason for those of you who said throttle body?

I will load the race tune later and see if there is s difference.

isnt there some procedure you have to go through to set up a new TB. I didn't think you could just bolt up a new one with out doing some thing to tune it first. Not installing a tune but sort of getting the TB adjusted first.

I'm not sure but something like
turn the key to the on pos
press gas pedal to the floor slowly
release slowly
ect ect ect.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???

Holy cow bro. I installed 3:73 gears and a one piece aluminum driveshaft in my 11 v6 and also running a 91 hybrid tune. I'm throwing down 4.7 to 4.8 second on 0-60. I do have an auto and running on the factory stock Michelin 17 inch tires. No real traction issues on the dry road for me,
