That ramp designation is like a black hole, cars fall in and they get lost...

I'd just keep bugging the salesman at the dealer.

Yeah, happened to me as well. Took my car almost two weeks to get on a train. There's unfortunately a bit of a bottleneck there, and it depends mostly on how many trains head your way and when they can fill one.

Ford has been having a lot of issues with the delivery companies right now. Please be patient with your salesman. He has zero control over it, and he wants the car there as much as you do since he won't be paid until you have the car.

I would recommend checking the VIN tracking section of the Blue Oval forum. I found those folks pretty helpful when i was waiting for my car

any idea what the issues are?!?!? I was told back in the summer when they had delays it was due to ford accidentally placing the wrong oil in all the cars and they did an audit and found out so they had to change out all the car fluids.....this was from my dealer...............hope this $#%@ aint going on with my whip!

No, no, that's not what happened.

The cars got produced with defective kanuter valves on them and they had to wait for China to send new ones...

Wrong. The kanuter valves were ok. The Jake brake pads were defective.

You are both wrong, they forgot to pack the muffler bearings with grease.

Now how could that be? The muffler bearings I buy come pre-packed with grease: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=10
(Check out the exhaust o-pipes and cross-drilled brake lines as well.)

I have heard nothing like that. But they are having trouble with the shipping companies. Fords not the only one thats having issues right now. The same shipping companies are used by GM and Toyota and have the same issues.

That's amazing! Does your source offer services like rotating the air in your tires too?
