Yea I saw that..but on the 05 997S they got 0-60 in 4.1 and the 1/4 mile in 12.6@112mph while Road and Track did 0-60 in 3.9 and the 1/4 mile in 12.3 @114.8mph.
!. They clocked the new Panamera Turbo 0-60 time at 3.3 seconds....

I'll be totally happy if my 11 V-6 with 3.31 gears will do 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds.
I think the G.T.'s timed runs will boil down to the amount of traction achieved.
