So, yeah, you do need to be careful or you'll be involved, if not cause, an "accident".

Crumbled windshield glass will still cut and penetrate the skin if given enough force behind it. I've had some in my arm for 25 years that a shotgun through a car window gave me.
I thought the glass eventually worked its way to the skin? I had a friend whose arm went through the window in a rollover accident, and that's what happened. But maybe his was closer to the surface?

We're missing pieces of the puzzle here. I'm thinking all kinds of scenarios as to why this accident happened in the first place. And bare with me, i ain't perfect either and i do mistakes too, but i'm a fast learner. I did rearend a semi with my company truck on a cold winter night on one of the busiest strecth of highway around here. My hood got stock under the rear guard rail of the semi and he didn't even notice it. He dragged the truck for about 500 feet before coming to a halt as other drivers we're desperately waving him to stop. It was a scary moment with the winshield in a zillion pieces, and the air bag deployed. And not to mention the "death" smell of a smashed windshield when it explodes.
Why did it happened ? Not enough distance between the truck and me. Ask me if i still do it !

Pissed off boyfriend/husband of a woman you were seeing?

In any case, my bet is there was a woman involved

was wingless a camaro guy? did someone run down his family? posting a point of view is one thing. BUT he seems full hot on a topic where we have less then 3 facts.

you can do actual good at a soup kitchen and not on a mustang forum. leave the wreck to the cops/ insurance company.

How many victims were in that vehicle?

How many people were injured?

How many lives did YOU permanently damage?

That would be the best thing for anyone and everyone in your general vicinity.

Please show some remorse for the victims you assailed.

If it were up to me I'd pull your license.

Given the inept justice system, hopefully the insurance company will raise your rates enough to make it cost-prohibitive for you to ever get behind the wheel again.

Anyone who plows into a stopped vehicle at 25 mph should be permanently relegated to a skateboard or the bus.

Fix and sell your car!
No one is infallable. I have 2.5 million accident free miles but I could have an at-fault accident tomorrow. If your standard for a driver is perfection its unattainable. I still make mistakes every day. I do my best to learn and improve from them.

Can I just say that with my experience in aviation accidents the last thing you want to do is draw conclusions based on only a few facts. So many times I hear of incidents that the media (or in this case the peanut gallery), based on a handful of observations will hang blame on someone when after the investigation is complete the blame rests squarely elsewhere. None of us are infallable either. I can think of several fatal accidents caused by rookie mistakes that involved crews with more time in an airplane that most people here have time driving cars, more education and knowledge of the applicable systems and physics of that realm than 99% of the people here have of driving and not one but two people monitoring the travel of that particular vehicle. Its not always black and white guys.

On the surface he rear ended a big ole SUV. If it was just stopped and hanging out and he nailed it, yeah, wake up and look at the windshield. Who is to say it didn't turn in front of him or cut him off and slam the brakes after almost missing its turn? Or am I the only one who has narrowly avoided rear ending a moron who realizes a quarter mile too late Burger King is on the left side of the street?
